How do I classify a single product? – Gaia Dynamics

Navigate to the Products page and select Add product.
Enter the product name. Optionally, enter the Category and Subcategory for your product. Click Add Product
Enter the available product information. The more detail you provide, the more accurate the result. At a minimum, you will need: product ID/name, product description.
Enter the product description by clicking the field. Use the Enhance description function to enhance your product description if it is incomplete.
Click Next. Click Save description
Select the Classification tab at the top. Click Start classification
Select whether to run a Gaia-assisted classification or enter the classification manually. Select Country of destination from the dropdown list.
- If Manual entry is selected, enter the Tariff code. Go to step 12
Click Add Classification
The AI will ask one or more clarifying questions to validate its assumptions before proceeding. Review these and click Refine to confirm.
The system runs multiple agents in parallel to:
- Suggest a 10-digit HS code
- Validate that the code exists and is current in the countries HS database
- Search for relevant customs rulings
- Write a detailed explanation of the classification rationale
- Identify alternative classifications and the conditions under which they would apply
Review the results. If you agree with the classification, click Use this code to apply it to the product record.
(Optional): Review your classification experience by selecting an answer to the question at the bottom right of the screen
